| The Consumer Affairs Application
is a custom developed application, developed within
the InfoShare application framework, which allows all
investigator, clerical, and administrative personnel
to manage and track complaints and related litigation.
The application also provides public access to selected
case information allowing the county’s constituents
to submit complaints and query selected company information
via the departments’ Internet home page. Perhaps
the most interesting feature of the application is the
ability for the constituents to enter the complaint
(HTML Form) via the Internet (via the County’s
homepage) and for that information to be automatically
transferred to the InfoShare Consumer Affairs case management
application for review by department staff. Upon review,
the complaint is either accepted and assigned a case
number or rejected and referred back to the complainant.
