InfoScan is a product to help the uesrs scan all hard-copy documents and make them electronic files, which can be uploaded to a server and can be retrieved by Infoshare2000 software whenever they are needed.

1. Barcode cover sheet batch scanning can improve the scanning speed and reduce manpower.

2. Users can enter basic information about a case for single-page scan.

3. Users can start from entering case number to associate the scanned file to that case.

4. Users can scan documents (general correspondence) without entering any case information first and later associate the scanned documents to a case.

5. Batch Scanning can handle documents as fast as your scanner can. There is no speed limit for our batch scanning component.

6. Any TWAIN32 compatible scanner will working well with our system.

7. Users can scan any document size, A4, letter, legal and so on, without changing settings on scanner. (based on scanner's capabilities).

8. Users can scan different colors of document. (based on scanner's capabilities).

9. Users can scan duplex document. (based on scanner's capabilities).

10. Scanned file will be converted to PDF format.

11. If users purchase OCR component from ADOBE, our system can do OCR while converting file to PDF format.

12. The batch scanning job can be done after office hour without human operation.

13. Users can put documents from different cases and categories together with cover sheets then do batch scanning. The system will automatically associate document to corresponding case, category and sub-category.

14. The document containing other barcode can also be scanned into the system. It will not interfere our batch scanning component.

15. The web application can generate scanning cover sheet with two-dimensional barcode for batch process. It is very easy to create a cover sheet.

16. The web application can keep log for cover pages. In case users lost their cover pages, they can pull out from the system and print them out again.

17. File conversion can be run on server or workstation depending on customer's environment to get the best performance.

18. Users can edit more than one cover sheet at a time and create more cover sheets for the same sub-category at the same time.

19. The application can automatically generate title in database and on cover sheet.

20. Scan two separate documents and merge them into one single file.

21. To protect the authenticity, all scanned files cannot be modified.

While all scanned documents are classified and posted to a case file from a scanning station, the application integrated with Document Management System also permits users to manage documents stored in their MS Word or Word Perfect files on their desktop.
