|
Infoshare2000 Digital Recording & Storage Integration initiative is built on the foundation of utilizing digital voice compression technology accompanied by the full integration of the newly developed web-based case management application.
Today, with the help of computers and the Internet, web-based case management applications have performed as a powerful utility for improving the manageability and efficiency of the day to day operations of the companies or organizations who need to track, sort, and analyze their case records. Managing cases has been transformed from a one-way flow of information into an interactive process. The latest streaming audio technology also has been proven as an efficient tool allowing users to upload, retrieve, and manipulate audio content, which is stored in a remote storage server and can be embedded into a web site.

| Users will no longer be
required to manually categorize and label the recorded
data as they did with cassette tapes in the occasions
like during court appeals or business conferences. After
recording the testimony or conversation with a portable
digital voice recorder, users just need a USB interface
(Universal Serial Bus, a plug-and-play interface between
a computer and add-on device, such as audio players,
joysticks, keyboards, telephones, scanners, and printers)
for the quick and easy uploading of the recorded data
to their computers, which are equipped with a soundcard,
speakers, and software capable of allowing users to
listen and give a meaningful name (keyword) or issue
a number (i.e. case number) to the recordings.
The advantages of utilizing digital recorders are as
follows:
Saves money by eliminating the need to purchase
cassette tapes
Saves storage space for recorded cassette tapes
Maintains the quality of the recorded hearings
indefinitely
Performs as electronic files which users can
easily search & access
Permits more than one user to access the recordings
simultaneously

| Storage Integration
Integrated with the Infoshare2000 Case & Document Management System (CDMS), users can easily associate the audio files, recorded via the digital recorder, with cases by attaching/uploading the audio files to the corresponding case number or case name through the Infoshare2000 CDMS user interface.
With the storage integration, recorded audio files are saved to the server with the corresponding cases, which allows the users to:
Intelligently search for the audio files by case number or keyword
Retrieve case information with the associated audio files
View the case information and listen to the associated audio files simultaneously utilizing their personal computer
