CSI Technology Group Develops Application Utility Significantly Enhancing Software Development Process
April 20th, 2000
Successful deployment of an extensive case management
system for the Office of the Public
Defender in New Jersey, with 22 remote sites, was attributed to a
program development model developed at CSI. William Yeh, President & CEO,
stated that the "breakthrough" development model significantly reduces
software-coding time and tasks for rapid delivery and deployment of custom
designed programs. "Our model and methods serve our clients with same-day
design and deployment service, even with complex functional changes that
are required," said Yeh.
The application utility, ASPsoft technology, is a "concept
to application" model which reduces application development time and allows
users to creatively manipulate data fields to produce a program design
and outcomes for their information needs. As a web-based solution technology,
applied through secured broadband and VPN access or over a LAN/WAN connection,
it provides non-technical users the opportunity to internally develop
and deploy their business applications through this new utility.
CSI Technology Group develops
multi-tier and web-based applications deployed
on Microsoft Windows, NT and UNIX platforms. With
CSI's experience serving a number of County Prosecutor's
Offices in New Jersey, utilization of the model
is also applicable to corporate environments with
sophisticated data management needs. Large corporations
would be able to lease the utility for internal
applications development and deploy on their own
networks. This model provides for a high level
of security in the design and deployment functions.

CSI recently announced the development of LawOnNet.com, which will provide
data management systems for private attorney offices throughout the United
States. Yeh said that during the development of this service, he realized
that smaller businesses would also benefit from the ASPsoft technology model
by allowing them to develop their own applications specific to their particular
business. Small businesses would be able to lease the utility and network
platforms hosted by CSI to configure on-line their applications at a fraction
of the cost of software development services.
Yeh said that he and the staff of CSI Technology are
looking forward to continued successful application of the "concept to
application" model, and the launching of the generic model by the end
of the year.
