The advantage of an Internet bulletin board is that individuals can view and post messages at their convenience from their home, office or anywhere they have access to a computer with a modem. The bulletin board is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. LG employees can post messages, photographs, and set up meetings/issues. The proposed Bulletin Board System for LG has the ability to allow employees to delete and modify any messages posted on the board if desired.

The bulletin board are extremely user friendly. Simply select one of the View / Add / Response / Search buttons on the bulletin board to accomplish what you want to do.

• Subdivision Capability You can subdivide/organize your board/messages into 12 different Categories/Groups. You create the category/group names. This presents a more organized grouping of messages for your users. It's like having 12 bulletin boards within one. Of course you don't have to use this feaure, but it's there if you need it.

• Insert Photographs/Graphics within Messages Photographs and graphics can be linked to or posted within messages. The graphic or photograph can reside on our server or anywhere on the net.

• Automatic Email Notification To Board Manager You can specify that the Bulletin Board Manager be automatically notified, via email, whenever someone posts a message to the board.

• Automatic Email Notification Of Replies To Messages You can specify that the creator of each message be automatically notified, via email, whenever someone posts a reply to their message.

• Automatic Email Notification Anytime A Message Is Posted You can configure your board to allow users to be automatically notified whenever a message is posted to your board.

• Member's Only Login You can set your board up so that only members with a password can access your board.

• Password Protection - Different Levels In addition to a "Members Only" password for Bulletin Board access, users can also create a unique password for messages they post, ensuring only they can modify/delete their own messages. But remember, you as the Bulletin Board Manager can delete/modify anyone's message.

• Moderated/Non-Moderated You have the option of setting your board up in such a way that all messages must be approved by you, before they are made available to the public - ("Moderated Board"). Or , you can set it so that no approval is needed before a message is viewable by all users - (Non-Moderated Board).

• Threaded/Non-Threaded You have the option, at any time, to configure your bulletin board to either a Threaded or Non-Threaded board.
  The decision as to which configuration to select, will probably be based on how you plan to use your board. If your visitors use your board primarily for discussion topics, you'll want to set it up as a Threaded board. If your visitors will be using your board to primarily post single items/messages such as items for sale, help wanted, classified ads, etc. (messages that won't have further discussion associated with them), you'll want our board set up as a Non-Threaded board.

• Full Text Search Of All Messages On Your Board Users have full text search capability, meaning they can search all messages on thier board by keywords, creation date, and/or category.

• Unlimited Message Capability Each board is allocated 10 megabytes of storage space for messages. We've never had anyone exceed this limit. That amount of space allows for thousands of messages to be stored.

• Sorting Capability You can sort your messages by Date (ascending/descending), or by Message Title.

• Message Archive Capability You can archive old messages by category and/or creation date range.

• Message Deletion You can delete messages one at a time or as a group by category and/or creation date range.

• Full HTML Message Formatting All users posting messages to your board have full HTML message formatting capability, meaning they can add color, bold, underline, etc. formatting to their messages.
