CSI is installing a case management system that will serve all criminal investigation units of the Division. The application includes an Intake module for all correspondence and hot line inquiries; an Investigation module for the recording of subject data, investigative activities and reports; an e-Prosecution module for the tracking of Grand Jury and Trial activities; and an Appeals module. The document management component permits the scanning and electronic storage of documents, and our Promis Gavel interface feature will permit the automated update of post indictment trial events to the case management system. This system permits all staff members to update information to their assigned cases and produces case status reports for management personnel.

The New Jersey State Commission of Investigations Integrated Case and Document Management System is a custom developed application, based upon the InfoShare application, specifically designed by the administration of the State Commission of Investigation and CSI Technology group. The system is an integrated web-based Investigation and Case Management application that collects Investigation, Intelligence and Litigation information, as well as all Administrative support information such as evidence inventory, schedule hearings, interviews and subpoenas. In addition to managing case information, the Application provides an extensive Document Management solution.

The NJ State Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics Attorney Registration System is a custom application developed specifically for maintaining attorney/firm information for the registration of all practicing attorneys in the State, and maintaining records of all complaints and disciplinary proceedings. The system is capable of searching attorneys, law firm membership, complaint records, and registration fees.

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Case Management System is one of ten custom developed, web-enabled criminal case management applications specifically designed for County Prosecutor's Offices in the State of New Jersey. The application is based within the Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser, and encompasses a total of 9 modules, including the Duty Referral, Investigations, Evidence, Juvenile, Screening, Grand Jury, Trial, Megan's Law and Forfeiture Modules. Investigation sub-modules include Death Investigations, Arson, Sex Crimes and Narcotics. All processes in the Office are automated, from a cases' inception in the Duty Referral or Investigations Modules, all the way through Trial and Forfeiture proceedings meaning that there are approximately 150 consecutive users, using the system at any given time. In addition, we are currently developing a mapping and notification system for the Megan's Law unit.
