CSI: Supporting the Law Enforcement Family
CSI’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Gary Talijan, was invited to be a guest at the New York Fire Department’s annual banquet on April 4. Talijan, a retired Lieutenant and Intelligence Supervisor with the New Jersey State Police, serves on the Board of Advisors for the Silver Shield Foundation, an organization founded by the late George Steinbrenner, former owner of the New York Yankees, and the late James Fuchs, a close friend of Steinbrenner’s. The Silver Shield Foundation provides scholarships for the children of police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty. Gary was recognized by Commissioner Salvatore J. Cassano for his service and dedication to the Silver Shield Foundation for the past ten years and his work with CSI.
CSI Technology Group is a dedicated supporter of law enforcement support organizations. In February, CSI sponsored the Tri-State Troopers Fund Bridge Dinner, providing the lodging for the recipients of TSTF scholarships so that they could attend the function. For this, the TSTF recognized CSI and CEO William Yeh as Business of the Year. The Tri-State Troopers Fund providesfinancial assistance to the surviving spouse and the minor children of state and local police who are killed, permanently injured or become ill while working in law enforcement to protect the lives of others in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
