CSI Announces: Development of Fusion Center Management Tool.   Jan. 2010

 

CSI Technology Group announces the development of a Fusion Center management Tool called the iLog. This module built upon the InfoShare Base application is designed for the command and control of a Statewide or Regional Fusion Center during times of crisis as well as for daily use

The User interfaces are sleek and designed for fast input of data. The ability to handle a large volume of information in an accelerated manner is the key to the iLog. Some of the highlights include #ndash;

 

1. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual Links – Every Fusion Center has Procedures that must be followed during times of crisis. Our procedure manual link automatically links certain policies to certain incident types. So if there is a tanker spill on a major highway, all of the Standard Operating Procedures for that type of incident are linked to that incident type. The User does not have to look through paper manuals or look up the policies they ‘think’ they need to follow.
2. Command Map – A map for displaying on a command screen or on individual panels is built into the system. This map allows the User to visualize what is happening in the jurisdiction. Utilizing the latest satellite imagery from Microsoft BING the Fusion center commander can quickly view the aerial photos to determine if there are areas that need to be evacuated during a tanker spill, forest fire or any other tactical deployment.
3. Color Coded Heads Up display – Command staff can quickly log into the application home screen and see what incidents are active and based on the standardized colors, access how critical certain events are. Hyperlinks on the home screen take the User directly to the incident so that they can review the entire scope.
4. Ad Hoc Searching – Thanks to InfoShare Ad Hoc search technology, Users have the ability to not only execute their own searches but also determine what results they want to see on a spreadsheet. No longer are the search results you get ‘locked’ into a certain format. They are determined by the User as they need them.
